Respite Care Funding is Available

Many caregivers may not recognize or want to admit that they need the help. They may be too busy being a caregiver to take the time to think about it.   

The Parkinson's Community Network  acknowledges the responsibility of being a caregiver and would like to assist with financial resources.  We have raised funds to offer some financial relief to those living with Parkinson’s Disease (or awaiting a diagnosis) in order to access respite care. Respite care comes in many forms and provides essential relief for caregivers, allowing them to rest and recharge, while ensuring that their loved ones receive professional and compassionate care, enhancing overall well-being for both parties. 

We are partnering with PEP Seniors Therapeutic Center to facilitate respite care.  Complete the  On Line Application for Respite Care below or click on DOWNLOAD THE APPLICATION  for a paper copy that can be completed and and emailed to PEP at info@morepep.ca.  You will be contacted by  PEP with further assistance with accessing local resources for respite care.   All inquiries will remain confidential.   If you have questions before completing the application, feel free to contact PEP by telephone 613-201-7172 or email info@morepep.ca.
