We don't always like it but we know exercise is good for us! Physical activity has been shown to improve many Parkinson's symptoms, from balance and mobility issues to depression, constipation and even thinking skills. In addition, research shows that exercise may have a protective effect on the brain, slowing the degeneration of brain cells. It is also an active way of coping with Parkinson's Disease. Boxing Ties is a Boxing-Inspired Exercise Class for People with Parkinson’s. 10 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Instructor is Kim Ducharme.

'Harmony in Motion' is an 8 week groundbreaking program tailored to address the motor components affected by Parkinson’s disease through engaging music and movement activities, fostering a sense of community, joy, and vitality. PEP Brain and Body Boost is a two hour program that supports you both physically and cognitively. Unit 118 – 91 Cornelia St., Smiths Falls – Monday: 9:30 – 11:30
and 12 Elliot Street, Perth – Tuesday: 9:30 – 11:30. $75.00 for six weeks
